Athletic Trainer Finder, LLC ("Athletic Trainer Finder," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use our website, career platform, job board, Talent Network, employer tools, communications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By using the Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Platform, and information received from third parties. For purposes of California law, the categories of personal information we collect include the following.

- Headshot

- Purchase, subscription, and add-on history

- City/region inferred from IP address
F. Sensitive Personal Information
Some fields you choose to submit (such as BOC numbers, precise salary expectations, or résumé content) may be treated as sensitive personal information under applicable law. We use this information only to operate the Platform and provide the services described below; we do not use it to infer characteristics about you for purposes outside those services.
G. Other Information You Submit
Feedback, decline reasons, comments, questions, messages, and any other information you choose to submit.
Information From Third Parties
We may receive information from third-party services, including:
- Google sign-in or authentication providers
- Stripe or other payment processors
- Wix or legacy contact systems, including our Wix CRM contact list
- Google Sheets or internal operations tools
- Email delivery providers (such as Resend, via notify.atcfinder.com)
- Analytics providers
- Publicly available BOC credential registries or similar public sources
- Employers, athletic trainers, or other users
If you were previously a contact in our Wix CRM, we may match your email at signup to that record to pre-populate basic information.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to operate, improve, secure, and provide the Platform.
This includes using information to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Authenticate users
- Maintain athletic trainer profiles
- Maintain employer and organization accounts
- Display job listings
- Process employer purchases
- Facilitate candidate interest and introduction requests
- Allow athletic trainers to control what information is shared
- Send transactional and service-related communications
- Send optional marketing communications
- Verify credentials where applicable
- Moderate listings, feedback, and user content
- Detect fraud, abuse, scraping, spam, or misuse
- Enforce our Terms & Conditions
- Improve Platform features and user experience
- Analyze hiring trends and market activity
- Create aggregated or de-identified insights
- Provide employer analytics where available
- Comply with legal obligations
- Protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Athletic Trainer Finder, users, and the Platform
Automated decision-making. Suggested-jobs matching and other ranking features use algorithmic logic based on your stated preferences and Platform activity. These features do not make solely automated employment decisions. Employers make all hiring decisions.
3. Athletic Trainer Profile Privacy
Athletic Trainer Finder is designed to allow athletic trainers to explore opportunities while controlling what identifying information is shared.
Athletic trainers may be assigned an anonymized public identifier, such as AT #XXXXX.
By default, employers may see limited or anonymized profile information depending on Platform settings and access level.
Athletic trainers may choose to share specific fields, including:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- LinkedIn profile
- Headshot
- Résumé
- Salary floor
- Other profile details
Headshots are stored as images only. We do not perform facial recognition or other biometric processing on uploaded photos.
Once an athletic trainer chooses to share information with an employer, Athletic Trainer Finder cannot control how that employer stores, uses, forwards, copies, or retains that information.
4. Employer Access to Athletic Trainer Information
Employers may receive access to athletic trainer information when:
- An athletic trainer accepts an introduction request
- An athletic trainer marks interest in a specific role and has pre-approved certain fields for sharing
- An employer purchases or receives access to specific Platform features
- An athletic trainer otherwise chooses to share information
Employers are required by our Terms & Conditions to use candidate information only for legitimate hiring-related purposes.
However, Athletic Trainer Finder is not responsible for how employers use information after it has been shared with them.
5. Feedback and Anonymous Information
Users may submit feedback, decline reasons, questions, comments, and other hiring-related information.
We may use feedback to:
- Improve the Platform
- Help employers improve hiring practices
- Identify hiring trends
- Create aggregated reports
- Develop employer resources
- Strengthen the athletic training profession
Feedback may be shared with employers when it relates to a specific job listing or introduction.
We may also aggregate, anonymize, summarize, or de-identify feedback so it does not intentionally identify an individual user.
We do not intentionally identify individual users in aggregated feedback unless:
- The user gives permission
- Disclosure is necessary to operate the Platform
- Disclosure is required by law
- Disclosure is necessary to protect safety, rights, or Platform integrity
6. Payment Information
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors, including Stripe.
We do not store full credit card numbers or complete payment card data.
We may receive and store limited billing information, such as:
- Name
- Billing email
- Organization name
- Transaction amount
- Purchase history
- Subscription or product information
- Payment status
- Last four digits of payment card, where available from the processor
Payment processors handle payment information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We may use cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics tools, and similar technologies to:
- Keep users signed in
- Remember preferences
- Improve Platform functionality
- Understand usage patterns
- Measure performance
- Detect abuse or security issues
- Support marketing or referral tracking
You may be able to disable cookies through your browser settings. Some Platform features may not work properly if cookies are disabled.
8. How We Share Information
We may share information in the following circumstances.
With Employers
We share athletic trainer information with employers when permitted by Platform settings, user actions, introduction acceptance, interest workflows, or other user-controlled features.
With Athletic Trainers
We may share employer, organization, listing, introduction, or job-related information with athletic trainers.
With Service Providers
We share information with vendors and service providers who help us operate the Platform, including:
- Hosting and database providers
- Authentication providers
- Payment processors (such as Stripe)
- Email delivery providers (such as Resend, sending from notify.atcfinder.com)
- Analytics providers
- Automation providers
- Customer support tools
- Security and fraud-prevention tools
- Wix CRM (we may add registered users to our Wix contact list to maintain continuity with our legacy contact list and ongoing communications)
- Google Sheets (used internally for operational records, including a "Talent Network Job Submissions" record of new job postings)
Service providers may only use information as needed to perform services for us.
With Third-Party Integrations
If you connect or use third-party integrations, information may be shared as necessary to provide that functionality.
For Legal or Safety Reasons
We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with law
- Respond to legal process
- Enforce our Terms & Conditions
- Protect rights, safety, or property
- Investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues
- Prevent harm to users, Athletic Trainer Finder, or others
Business Transfers
If Athletic Trainer Finder is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Aggregated or De-Identified Data
We may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual user.
9. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide the Platform
- Maintain user accounts
- Complete transactions
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce agreements
- Maintain security
- Prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with law
- Maintain business records
- Improve the Platform
If you delete your account, we will remove or de-identify personal information within a reasonable period, subject to legal, operational, backup, audit, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and security retention requirements.
Certain information may be retained longer, including:
- Payment records
- Audit logs
- Security records
- Aggregated or de-identified data
- Feedback already shared or aggregated
- Listings, messages, or information already shared with other users
- Records needed to comply with legal obligations
10. Your Choices
Depending on your account type and Platform features, you may be able to:
- Update your profile
- Change visibility settings
- Control what information is shared with employers
- Withdraw interest in a role
- Delete or update certain account information
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Request account deletion
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages.
You may not opt out of transactional, administrative, security, or service-related communications while maintaining an active account.
Account deletion. You may request account deletion from your profile/account settings inside the Platform or by emailing atcfinder@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information.
However, no system is completely secure.
We cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by unauthorized parties.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and applicable authorities as required by applicable law.
12. Children's Privacy
The Platform is intended for adults eighteen (18) and older and is not directed to children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen (13). If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under thirteen, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Users must be at least eighteen (18) years old to create an account.
13. State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.
These may include the right to:
- Access personal information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete personal information
- Obtain a copy of personal information
- Opt out of certain uses or disclosures

Athletic Trainer Finder does not sell personal information for money.
If we use advertising or analytics technologies that are considered "sharing" under California law, eligible users may have the right to opt out.
Global Privacy Control. Where required by applicable law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) transmitted by your browser as a request to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information for the browser that sends the signal.

15. International Users
The Platform is operated from the United States.
If you access the Platform from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
16. Third-Party Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, job applications, employer pages, social media pages, payment processors, or external resources.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, security, or accuracy of third-party websites or services.
You should review their privacy policies before providing information.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Material changes may be communicated by email, in-Platform notice, website posting, or other reasonable method.
Unless otherwise stated, changes become effective when posted.
Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
Disputes about this Privacy Policy are governed by the dispute-resolution section of our Terms & Conditions.
